FinTech Conference Brings Together Numerous Industry Rep and Policy Makers
AVP – MT Sales Executive of Nasdaq Tony Sio recently took part in an Artificial Intelligence & Robo Advice seminar during the second annual FinTech Conference held in Brussels on Feb. 27.
Sio made multiple points during his speech such as:
- Using technology to comprehend how financial markets work and market analysts.
- The importance of putting attention on outcome regulatory measures rather than the tools used.
- How important it is to find a better approach that’s founded upon cross-regulatory transparency
The conference brought forth a plethora of industry representatives and senior policymakers from Europe, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong and the U.S.
Speakers involved with the event include Valdis Dombrovskis, Euro and Social Dialogue Vice President and EU Head of Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union; Yves Mersch, Executive Board of the European Central Bank member; and Steven Maijoor, European Supervisory and Markets Authority chair.
The seminar was put together before the official release of the EU’s Fintech Action Plan.
