Will Bitcoin Go Up Again?

Bitcoin (BTC), though the largest cryptocurrency in the world, lacks an official developmental team. This indicates that, there will be no pending changes, revisions or updates for the BTC network shortages.

One of these shortages is Bitcoin’s scalability issues  as its transactions are becoming slower and more expensive, which makes it non-practical when we talk of sending little amounts of Bitcoin to other addresses.

Despite, Bitcoin still strives to stay above all other cryptocurrencies, which indicates that, concerning its market value, it has great potentials.

No other coin has been able to reach Bitcoin’s record price of $18,000, which might indicate that Bitcoin will most likely get close to its record highs one day.

Can Bitcoin Go Up Again In Early 2019?

Lately, the market has seen frequent decreases which seems to have killed the general buzz most crypto enthusiasts had at the close of 2017.

This is usually the case, due to the fact that most cryptos since December 2017 and January 2018, have lost a lot of value; Bitcoin is not left out- it has lost more than -66% of its market total value since mid-December 2017.

The most recent rebound of the market occurred on 15th October, where Bitcoin rose up by 5% in 24 hours. But, just a day after, probably resulting from a mass sell-out that most likely took place after the spike, Bitcoin was seen around 0%, dealing at the value of $6,618.

If the repetition of 2017’s hype around New Year happens, which is very likely, Bitcoin might break through the value of $7000, going towards $8000 considering current trends and the mass spike of 2017, that way getting back some fraction of its lost value.

BTC’s greatest worry, should be that the network lacks frequent updates. However, Bitcoin’s potential to rise again by the close of 2018 and at the start of 2019, is still very possible, because it represents one of the greatest investments found in the blockchain space
