Bitcoin Forecast 2018: Expected to witness a recovery and rise this year

Many predictions are made by the investors and analyst about the future trajectory of the price of cryptocurrencies. On such conjecture is about the price of Bitcoin. Here it is stated that the price will shoot up to $50,000 by the end of this year.

Had the price of the Bitcoin reaches the level of $50,000 from the current amount of $10,000, such increase represent the fivefold ascend. Besides, such meteoric rise is largely an optimistic conjecture and such projection is accompanied with huge downside risk.

With regard to the volatility, a cryptocurrency portfolio manager by the name of Jeet Singh, stated at World Economic Forum in Davos, the current volatility is inherent in the price behavior of the cryptocurrencies. This is largely because of the sheer absence of any regulation in the cryptocurrency space. According to Jeet, even the fluctuations of 70% to 80% are normal.

Further, comparisons have been drawn on the stocks of Microsoft and Apple. At the beginning these stocks were very volatile, but with the passage of time the companies have built such business model that their stock became much more stable.

Investors is the bitcoin have different perspectives when it comes to the future trend of the price of Bitcoin. Some want to stay out of it, while the others have taken long positions. There are those, especially the institutional investors, who see the drastic drop in the price of Bitcoin as an opportunity to seize and buy the long positions in their portfolio.

John McAfee, Bitcoin supporter and founder of the popular McAfee antivirus software, is being very positive about Bitcoin. He predicted that Bitcoin price will hit $1 million by 2020 following last year’s prediction of $7000 which was well surpassed.
