Coinlist CEO Says ICO Investments Has Reached $15 Billion This Year

An interview was made with the Co-Founder, and CEO of Coinlist, Andy Bromberg by Bloomberg and he talked about the improvements of the cryptocurrencies in this year. He also talked about the effect the market has on Coinlist that is a platform for digital asset companies.

According to the explanation that was made by Andy, the ICOs took much attention of people in last year. However, there are high-quality projects as well as low-quality ones and there a big difference has occured between them. He continued that the differences between these ICOs can be understood by the investors now. But they invested in any project as they didn’t know these differences last year.

Moreover, Andy made a general explanation about the overall investment flow and he made a comparison between the ICO investment of this year and the last year. He stated that invesments have considerably increased since last year. Although the amount of investment that was made in last year was $6 billion, the amount of overall investment flow is now $15 billion.

Andy talked about the reason of this increase. The main reason of this big increase is the emergence of different types of tokens from different categories. Besides, these tokens are much more different than those that were emerged in last year. Andy also talked about if these many kinds of tokens are necessary. According to him, there is no need for a lot of tokens, indeed. He stated that the investors invested in any kind of token regardless of its quality. But now they more likey to seem to invest in high-quality tokens. Andy concluded that this year we see that high-quality projects are making considerable gains. According to the Bloomberg report, last month was the worst month for cryptocurrency ICOs in a long time, since 2016.
