Wissanue Krea-Ngam advocates for stiffer Cryptocurrency Regulations

Wissanu Krea-Ngam, the Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand, has advocated for the improvement of cryptocurrency rules in the country. This address came during the fourth regional Counter-Terrorism Financing Summit that took place in Bangkok. He further debated that there is a need for both international and domestic legal measures to be put into place as this will prevent the misusage of cryptocurrencies.

Anti-Money Laundering Office in Thailand hosted the summit in partnership with other regional bodies. Wissanu urged both terrorism and anti-money laundering experts not to be complacent. Rather they must update their knowledge in the industry so they will be ahead of those perpetrating crimes.

Russian and Spain signs agreement to stop hacking

Earlier this week Spain and Russian have signed a deal to ensure that both countries stop spreading negative information concerning one another. The deal, which was struck by both foreign ministers Sergei Lavrov and Josep Borrell will see both nations take necessary action to crackdown on spreading damaging information attacks. Furthermore, they will work together to address issues that may cause a problem between each country.

Cryptocurrency Exchanges support upcoming Bitcoin Cash Hard Fork

As the Bitcoin Cash hard fork is approaching quickly, many cryptocurrency enthusiasts are anxious regarding the cryptocurrency exchanges that will support the event. Currently, cryptocurrency exchanges such as BitMEX, Ledger, Coinbase, and Binance have announced plans to handle the hard fork. However, BitMEX has announced further information concerning how the exchange will support the upcoming hard fork on November 15, 2018.

With the hard fork just days away, BCH slide 6.17% within the last 24 hours. However, the digital asset had risen to a recent peak of $635. Many cryptocurrency traders are hoping the value of BCH will surge in anticipation of the upcoming hard fork.

Tron’s (TRX) Decentralized Exchange is Live on TronScan

Earlier in September, Tron’s Public Chain Division Marcus Zhao informed the Tron community of the progress of the project; he further focused on what the future hold for the cryptocurrency exchange. In development to this, the team announced the activation of the Tron Virtual Machine.

MUFG signs MOU with Banco Bradesco for cross-border payment service

The principal banking unit of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) announced the signing of an MOU with Banco Bradesco for the development of a new cross-border payment service, which will use Ripple’s technology. MUFG Bank is MUFG is a parent company to Japan largest bank (MUFG Bank) with its headquarter in Tokyo and one of the main companies of the Mitsubishi Group. However, Banco is one of Brazil’s largest bank with its headquarter in Osasco. Ripple is a Californian FinTech startup, which specializes in providing cross-border payment solutions. RippleNet is its global payment network that connects payment providers and banks to provide frictionless experience when sending and receiving money globally.
