Ethereum (ETH)’s Future: Has Google offered the founder of Ethereum, Vitalik Buterin a job?

It is a known fact that companies like Alphabet Inc., the parent of Google is trying to incorporate blockchain technology is in their products. They are also trying to use the distributed digital ledger to their advantage. Also, recently it was quite clear that Alphabet Inc.is trying to acquire start-ups which will help them in moving ahead on the blockchain technology. They are particularly looking for blockchain-based products which can work with current coins like Bitcoin as well as Ethereum.

Job offer to CEO of Ethereum:

According to a recent tweet by Vitalik Buterin, who is the CEO of Ethereum, the recruitment team at Google had sent them an offer by email to join the company as a programmer. He recently tweeted a picture of the offer and also set up a poll on his Twitter account. It got around 2200 responses before he deleted it.

Cryptocurrency enthusiasts go buzzing:

On the other hand, even after deleting the tweet, there are discussions on Reddit as well as Twitter. People are expressing the position on what he should be doing. According to cryptocurrency enthusiasts, he did huge mistake by making a private conversation public. According to a member on Reddit, he is likely to burn himself out if it takes up a job at Google as a programmer. Another Reddit member added that it is Google which should be joining the Ethereum blockchain rather than asking the CEO of Ethereum to join them as a programmer.

No decision yet:

Even though the CEO of Ethereum has not taken any decision yet regarding the job offer but in all probability, he won’t take up the job offer. The decision still rests with them though. Ethereum is a cryptocurrency and its blockchain is doing pretty well. The popularity of Ethereum blockchain is increasing by leaps and bounds. The Ethereum blockchain these days is being used by a variety of different organizations as well as developers in order to develop their decentralized applications. As a result, the potential is huge and currently, it is just the starting point.

One thing, however, is for sure that Google is trying to poach brilliant programmers in order to develop decentralized ledger as well as blockchain of its own. It will also be interesting to see whether it acquires any start-up in the space. For now, it just seems to be hiring developers in order to further its ambition of developing a blockchain.
